THE institute for Renewable Energy, EuroProjects, the Business and Innovation Centre Bratislava and The Energy Agency of Podkarpacie invite all firms type Small and Medium Enterprises ,especially from Podkarpacie region and the neighbor regions for a training seminar together with workshops concerning practical aspects of the contribution of innovative Small and Medium Enterprises in European Union’s frame programs as far as renewable sources of energy are concerned.

The aim of the seminar is to present the rules of participation in the 7th frame program (FP7) and in the program ‘Intelligent Energy for Europe (IEE). Within the FP7 , the Small and Medium Enterprises can try to participate in V priority ‘Energy’, whose budget is 128 million Euros. The nearest date of sending applications within FP7 ‘Energy’ is appointed for 28th of June 2007.In case of the program IEE , the Small and Medium Enterprises can try to obtain the participation in the projects type STEER, ALTENER, SAVE. The general budget of IEE in this year’s competition is 55 million euros. It should be emphasized that in comparison with the previous competitions within IEE, the joint financing increased from 50% to 75% of qualified costs. The deadline of sending applications is 28th September 2007.

The meeting is organized within the project ‘RESCUE’ – ‘Small and Medium Enterprises from Middle and Eastern Europe to meet the challenges of renewable sources of energy sector – Plan of action stimulating research and innovations of Small and Medium Enterprises from CEE countries in range of renewable energy.

The basic aim of the project is to carry out activities which will enable the participation of Small and Medium Enterprises of renewable energy sector in research of 6th and 7th Frame Program. The partners of the project offer the potential beneficiaries much help with applying for European projects through sharing with them the knowledge they have in this field and offering them contacts with Polish and foreign institutions , consultancy and technical and organization help during the applying process.

The participation in the workshop is free of charge.

When the workshop is over , individual consultancy will be available.

Due to the limited number of participants, the date of registration will be decisive .The participants from Podkarpacie region and the neighbor regions will have the preference.
