As one of the first independent and private research centres in Poland (established in 2001) having a wide-range of international relations, the Institute for Renewable Energy seeks young engineers to carry out development work related to marketing innovative small-scale technologies related to solar, wind and biogas energy and to utilisation of biomass. New employees will also participate in EU research projects devoted to the interface and interaction between the renewable energy sector and traditional energy systems.

The Institute promotes innovativeness in the technical (e.g. new ideas and technologies) and organisational sense (e.g. teleworking) and wishes the staff to have a good command of renewable energy issues and market trends and be willing to commit themselves to that area. Candidates should also be able to:

• carry out their tasks independently on the basis of far-reaching mutual trust,
• work in dynamically changing environment while being focussed on the results without unnecessary formalism,
• work in a team open to knowledge and with other individualists.

Other requirements:

• completion of higher technical studies with a second class degree as a minimum,
• good command of English,
• considerable flexibility in view of a need to visit foreign partners.
